Thousand Trails – Clermont, FL
Staying at this park requires a membership to Thousand Trails, which we received complimentary for 1 year when we purchased our camper. The full hookup sites are in the front of the park and are close together and wide open. We happened to find a site in the back with lots of foliage and privacy. It rained most of the weekend, but we managed to have a good time anyway. Camping is like that for us. 🙂
- POPULATION: A lot of the seasonal people leave April 1st. We got here March 31st late at night and were told there were no sites available, so we had to stay the night in the parking lot. By early morning, so many people left that we had a choice of many nice spots. It also rained the whole weekend, so didn’t run into may people.
- CLEANLINESS: We didn’t use the bath houses, but the clubhouse was clean.
- SITES: Sites near the lake in the back are best.
- AMENITIES: Lake with paddle boats, clubhouse with pool and activities, giant chess & checkers, about 20 minutes from Disney.
